Kenilworth Gospel Chapel - 557 Newark Ave., Kenilworth (Advance reservations required) Victorian Tea (with tea sandwiches, scones, desserts), Program, Gift Auction, Book Signing -- and More Meet author Cormac O'Brien, who will highlight America's extraordinary First Ladies (from 1789 to the present), as per his most recent book, Secret Lives of the First Ladies: Strange Stories and Shocking Trivia from Inside the White House (Copies of book to be available for purchase/signing by author)

Oswald J. Nitschke House (49 S. 21 Str.) Tour the restored, elevator-equipped c. 1880 home of former Kenilworth Mayor Oswald J. Nitschke. View exhibits and enjoy "living history program celebrating Kenilworth's colorful history; see the site's "teaching gardens; participate in a garden-to-table cooking  demo and more! (Free admission)
 Mohegan Sun Bus Trip (Uncasville, Conn.) Sat., Oct. 27
